what is the motion of planets throughout the solar system influenced by?

I need help for my project. Its about the solar system. I don`t know how to make a solar system model. Well I do know how to make a model but I don’t know how to make the models move. I need to know how to make the planets can orbit around the sun. And can you tell me how many styrofoam balls I will need for the planets and what size I should get for the planets (Large, Medium, Small) and which size is right for the planets. Thanks!

How do astronomers measure distances in the solar system?

Yeah yeah, we’ve all heard scince 3rd grade that the 9 planets in our solar system are mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, neptune, uranus, and pluto. But now they’ve removed pluto, and added planets in between mars and jupiter, and after uranus, and I’m very confused. I do know that there COULD be as many as 53 planets, but only 12 or so have been identifyed and named. How many are there exactly and what are thier names?

I have to teach a lesson comparing two similar things on the topic i have chosen about the solar system. I wanted to do a lesson on constellations but don’t know what I would compare to a constellation. One example my teacher showed us was he did cephalopods and compared octapus to squid. I am lost for what I can do mine on. I am teaching 2nd and 3rd graders. Previous lessons have been on rockets, the moon, comets, and the planets. Thanks for any help.

if aliens had to relocate to our solar system because their sun was dying and they needed somewhere to live, what questions would you ask them? Pleeze & Thanx, if possibly could the questions contain some facts about space?

What will happen if suddenly sun is removed from our solar system. Of course we will be unable to see it after 8 minutes. But what about it’s gravitational pull will it also require 8 minutes to disappear. What is the speed of gravity?

I guess such disappearance is against law of conservation off mass & energy.But still assume that Sun disappears[:d].
